About Debre Kidusan Abune Aregawi Tigray Orthodox Tewahedo Church in the Tri-State (NY, NJ & CT)

Members of the Tigray Orthodox Church in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) strive to strengthen and preserve our Orthodox Christian and Tigrayan traditions as part of our spiritual journey. We aim to build an inclusive, caring, united and loving Tigray Orthodox Tewahedo Church community in the Tristate that welcomes all and invites those who seek God’s blessings and mercy.

We keep the people of Tigray, the people of these United States and the people of the world in our prayers. We denounce injustice, war crimes and crimes against humanity anywhere in the world. As Reverend and Civil Rights advocate Dr. Martin Luther King once said, injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

We ask our Lord for forgiveness and wish to see a peaceful world where all God’s children can coexist and worship God together. Amen!
